Hot hot hot!
"Don't forget it was your decision to move South", said hubs, with no facial expressions whatsoever.
"Ugh.... really dawg?" I swallowed all my cuss words. Happily and painfully I enjoy the heat. :)
I honestly can't remember where I found this black eyed pea dip recipe, all I can say is if you don't make this, you're missing out big time.
Ingredients: black eyed pea, lemon juice, paprika, sea salt, black pepper and a little water. Put them all together in a blender or food processor. That's all. You can determine how rough/refined the texture based on your taste buds, oh and extra lemon juice won't hurt.

It's gotta be the fresh zesty lemon juice, no any other ways, sorry!

I made these black eyed peas from dry so they are fresh, not slimy,
I'll encourage you to make them from scratch, eff canned peas (gross)

Like that, use whatever veggies you like. Garnish with some EVOO and paprika
It goes so well with a cold beer. Yummm! I feel like diving into the cool waters now.
Note: I also spread it on the toast, mayo is not very good for you, just FYI.
